Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I have to pay for parking?
The day parking is located across Hamilton Road on property owned by the Boy Scouts. There may be a small daily parking fee, to help out their organization.
2. Is there tent camping or space to park my RV overnight?
Yes, the festival offers campsites on a first come-first served basis. Campsites are reserved and assigned at the time of ticket purchase. The camping space allotments are clearly marked in the camping area and site supervisors will be on hand to assist in finding your campsite.
3. Are hookups and services available for campers?
Yes - we have about 110 sites with 120V/15AMP electrical hookups and convenient availability of water. There are no sewage hookups. The serviced sites are subject to a nightly fee, which is explained on our tickets page. During the four days of the festival, rough camping is no-charge with a weekend pass. Serviced sites will be subject to a nominal fee during that period. Before and after that time, there is a slightly higher fee for camping. Most campsites are 20' x 50', so there will be ample space for your requirements, and the land is reasonably level. Sewage removal services will be available throughout the weekend, by a third-party provider on a pay-per-dump basis.
4. Is there shade available in the camping areas?
Yes and No. Most campsites are in the open, so make sure your awnings work! There are a limited number of sites available at the edges of the campsite area with some trees - you can call 888-288-4423 at any time to speak with a festival volunteer about availability of those sites.
5. Is there shade available in the CONCERT areas?
Yes. The rear section of the concert area of STAGE 1 (Main Stage) will have a 160' x 60' canopy awning in place. This will stretch entirely across the concert area. BRING LAWN CHAIRS! There is no seating provided. STAGE 2 (Showcases and Workshops) is held inside a covered building and, as with Stage 1, BRING LAWN CHAIRS! There is no seating provided.
6. I am handicapped - can I rent a golf cart?
We provide limited golf cart rental during the three days of the festival for those who are handicapped. Golf carts must be be booked in advance and rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon arrival onsite, check in at the site office to see if there are any golf carts available. Because of the crowds at the festival, we recommend that handicapped attendees bringing their own golf carts or electric transport to arrive at the festival site between 8:00 and 8:30 am in order to avoid the crowds later in the day.
7. How far do I have to walk?

12. What about RULES? Are there any?
So glad you asked...of course there are rules! But don't think of them as rules - they are in place to make your weekend experience a pleasant and enjoyable one. Some of them will protect your right to such enjoyment from abuses by others, and some will protect us all by adhering to the laws of the park, the municipality, the Province of Ontario and of course, the Thames Valley Bluegrass Music Association.......and so, here they are:

Wristbands Must be Worn on the wrist only, because wearing it on your neck might create an over-use of our First-Aid resources…. No Wristband, No Admittance, No Exceptions.

No amplified music to be heard past the confines of your campsites. Offenders will be asked nicely to curtail the activity once. The second request will come with an invitation to the other side of the front gate.

Cleanup: This festival is produced by a collection of very hard working volunteers. Please make their job easier by cleaning up your campsite and any other place on the grounds that you may occupy over the weekend. Cigarette buts are a real problem for everyone. If you're a smoker, please discard your butts into an appropriate container, rather than grinding them into the earth with your heel.

No Glass in the Concert Area.

No unapproved vendors on site...That means you can’t attempt to sell your dog or spouse after he/she has embarrassed by his/her actions.

Parents, please watch your children, as there’s no babysitting available...take note, that also means watching your spouse and/or dog.

This is a family weekend. Rude, discourteous, beligerent, drunk, high, or otherwise offensive behaviour will be cause for immediate ejection from the park. We want our loved ones, our children and our grandchildren to come, be safe, enjoy themselves, and experience the best of what great music and great friendship has to offer. If you don't agree with the previous statement, please stay home.

No refunds for any person asked to leave because they couldn't get along with the rules above.
